OLD SKOOL MUSIC FILE: Angela Winbush

Watching her on TV Ones "Unsung", I had to post something about the great Angela Winbush.Singer, songwriter, musician, producer..... I had NO clue about her music until my Aunt told me that a great cover song for me to do is Angel and I fell in Love ever since. This is what you call real music in my opinion there's very few artist in the 21 century that i can say embarks true "real music". Back then it had a meaning and a purpose, it made you feel good after listening. These R&B artists today might be singers, but are they SANG-ers? -- I recently had somebody try to convince me of the immense talent of a certain someone (I wont say any names) this particular person is very now but he, like many of today’s R&B singers, makes disposable music and it’s R&B, not soul. I don’t see his stuff being played for my kids as the classics of my day or anyone else’s. Unfortunately, we have to look at these classic soul singers as relics. We need to start expecting timeless R&B and soul music from our artists…I don’t wanna hear about Nuvo and Bentleys in a love song…and wtm is “Birthday Sex”? #imjussayin lol

Anyway back to why were here i cant forget about the great duo she was apart of; René & Angela that had greats like I'll Be Good, and My First Love they later broke up and Angela became the bell of the ball!!!!!!
