Huh. It's raining today. Not only is it wet, it's warm and humid. In November! With a few days to Thanksgiving; fall in full swing; and the ever maddening questions as to what to wear on rainy days, I thought I'd offer up a few suggestions.
- Buy an affordable umbrella. There's so many inexpensive umbrellas that come in every size, shape and color imaginable.
- Speaking of color, don't be afraid to go with bright colors.
- Buy a great trench coat. When the weather is warm like today, go for trench coats with light fabric. During the winter, you could layer up with sweaters and long tees.
- Enjoy going all out for rain boots. Buy classic black as a rule of thumb and then add your own individual taste to your boots: berber, yellow, red, patterned - have fun!
- Wear durable fabrics that are not too heavy (unless the weather is very cold). There's nothing more miserable than going out in rainy, yet warm weather.
