Half Moon Nails

Im always looking for something new when it comes to nails so I thought you might just like the nails shown at Vena Cava during New York Fashion Week for Spring 2011. Manicurist Nonie Creme created a somewhat “reverse” half-moon nail look using two coats of Butter London “Yummy Mummy” lacquer followed by a glossy black semicircle in Butter London “Union Jack Black”. What’s cool is that you can switch up the colors to create your own version.


Request these at your next salon visit or do it yourself with two contrasting polish colors, a steady hand, and some tape cut into semi-circles to use as a guide.
